Fjord Satinato

Fjord Satinato

Perfect

I decided to purchase this kettle for a number of reasons.

1. I wanted to avoid plastic where possible.
2. It is manufactured in the EU and I prefer to support EU production when a UK option isn't available.
3. The company has consistently excellent reviews on Reddit, TrustPilot, and elsewhere.

From placing the order to delivery, communication was excellent and I was kept updated at every stage.

The kettle arrived within a few days and was very well packaged. The build quality and materials are outstanding, and the design feels premium. Several visitors have even asked where I bought it after seeing it.

After two months of daily use, I'm extremely impressed. I only use filtered water from my fridge, and there isn’t a trace of limescale inside.

Overall, I highly recommend this kettle.

Fjord Satinato

Brilliant quality kettle. I had been looking for a kettle like this for some time. It's strong and sturdy and does the job. Thank you!

Fjord Satinato

Absolute Empfehlung!

Fjord Satinato
Solid product!

Fjord Satinato

I have my Ottoni kettle nearly 5 years now and it is still perfect!! It never slowed down or lost its heating speed. It’s still as good as the day I bought it!! Definitely recommend!! It’s so well made! I love how all parts are stainless steal!! Customer service is excellent too!!

Fjord Satinato

Fjord Satinato

Fantastic kettle! Finally we found a kettle where the water doesn't get in touch with plastic. We like the vintage look, like the good old stove top kettle, only much faster. Great craftsmanship. Spout pours really well, no dropping. We also like the limescale filter made of steel mesh! This can be cleaned with lemon juice. And, it's available as spare part. Well worth it!

Beyond expectations!

Finally! No more "Free for BPA" bulls*** type of kettles, as if BPA was the only toxin in plastic! This is truly the best kettle out there. 100% metal inner and outer construction with the exception of the handle and the base, of which none comes in touch with water.

My initial worry was the weight, but its weight distribution is excellent so it feels very good on the hand. Quality from every single angle. My last kettle lasted me for just short of 10 years and I can only hope to see the same duration for this one :) Thank you!

Expensive and delivery costs higher than I usually pay, however, this is a lovely kettle and I have no regrets in purchasing it

4-stelle a Fjord Satinato

Fjord Satinato

Very well made, looks and feels sturdy. A bit heavy though.

We bought the Fjord Satinato for making baby tea when our daughter was little. What can I say- our daughter is now 11 years old and the kettle still works flawlessly! We would buy it again anytime!

Excellent quality

Thank you, Ottoni, for your high quality products! I've been vacuuming the internet for a plastic free kettle and was delighted to finally find this great-looking specimen. It is not quite as fast-boiling as our old kettle, but this is weighed up by the good looks, the high quality materials and the fact that it doesn't sound like it's about to take off into space.

I bought this because it has no plastic on the inside, it is well made for sure and I feel confident after these last year or two of using it that I'll be using it for many years to come. Actually I liked it enough I bought 2 just in case I couldn't find it again.

Fjord Satinato Electric Kettle

I can for sure recommend this kettle! It cooks the water fast, it's not too nosy and details like the metal on the handle not getting hot after cooking, emphasizes that this is a quality product.

Elektrischer Wasserkocher Fjord Satinato

Ansonsten alles OK.

Fjord Satinato Electric Kettle

Recieved the Kettle yesterday and delighted with it. Delivered promptly, well packaged, and cheaper than via amazon.Very well made and feels Very solid and is a timeless design.

Fjord Satinato Electric Kettle

I was initially skeptical, having looked at a fair few other kettles before deciding to try this one. In this case, I was pleasantly surprised. Very recommended if you’re looking for a minimalist, high quality 18/10 stainless steel kettle, in which no plastic will contact boiling water. Pros: – Well packaged, and prompt delivery – Feels very solid (yet also light!). I didn’t find any part of the kettle which felt flimsy, or poor quality. This was the only kettle I’ve tried for which I can say this. – Very quiet – Even the switch operates smoothly, and feels high quality – Only 18/10 stainless steel contacts the boiling water. 18/10 is the highest quality food-grade steel that I know of, and is supposedly better than other cookware materials if you wish to avoid the kettle materials leeching into the boiling water. Cons: – If you don’t like the simplicity, it leaves something to be desired in terms of features. It doesn’t optionally keep water warm after it has boiled. You’re also unable to select a maximum temperature for the water, which might be important for people who heat their water to 90 degrees for tea/coffee. - I'm not sure if this kettle has boil dry protection, it doesn't say anywhere. – I’m not sure what kettle control it uses. A lot of higher-end kettles use STRIX kettle controls, which are apparently quite reliable. For all I know, this kettle does too, but I couldn’t find any information about this. Because of this, I’m not sure how long it will last (I hope a very long time!). I also don’t know how easy any electronic components would be to replace, should they wear out. – It is single walled, and stainless steel conducts heat quite well. This means that people might burn themselves on the kettle, if they don’t know it’s recently boiled some water (keep it away from children!). The handle remains cold after the kettle has boiled however, so I think it’s fine if you use the kettle as intended. – I didn’t see any information about a warranty for this product on the website, but something tells me I won’t need to worry about this.

Elektrischer Wasserkocher Fjord Satinato

Fjord Satinato Electric Kettle

Very good service from Ottoni! Super fast shipping (2 days from Italy to Netherlands), hand signed thank you note from Ottoni, and some free tea spoons. Nice surprise! The kettle is great. Beautifully designed with an old fashioned spout that doesn't drip after pouring. Water boils fast and the kettle is relatively quiet. Also great that the entire kettle is made of steel (this was the reason I wanted an Ottoni kettle). If I have to name a downside, it's that the kettle gets hot on the outside (because it's not insulated like a plastic kettle) and that it's not possible to control the temperature (I often drink green tea, which needs water at 80c instead of 100c).

Elektrischer Wasserkocher Fjord Satinato

Fjord Satinato Electric Kettle

I'm really happy with this kettle. The water boils fast, the kettle is very quiet and has a beautiful design. My order was delivered after a few days and I was well informed while waiting. I finally found the kettle that I was seeking for, all made of high quality metal, without any plastic inside, it's gorgeous. I was surprised there was a nice gift inside the box as well.

Elektrischer Wasserkocher Fjord Satinato

Elektrischer Wasserkocher Fjord Satinato

Fjord Satinato Electric Kettle

This is the best kettle I have ever had. Shipping from Italy to Poland in 3 days. All parts touching water are made from metal, not plastic. The metal part is made from German steel and the rest of the parts from EU supplies. This is not a cheap Chinese toxic kettle you can find in your shop. I was looking for not Chinese kettle for about month and I could not find anything non-chinese, Ottoni is the only one I have found. The only one and the best one. Thanks!

Elektrischer Wasserkocher Fjord Satinato

Elektrischer Wasserkocher Fjord Satinato
